i have the hats and guns , i just need the uniforms or if you have all of these together that would be fine. i need them for both union and confederates.

I've only ever seen them at Cacheforce, I think, but I just bought their GI and it sucks, big time. If you find some, it'd be great to know where - just the kind of thing I love to hoard!

I bought the $9.99 Civil War soldiers to meet a quick and dirty need. You get a Union and Confederate soldier, a gun and some accessories. They don't pose well and the faces cannot be changed easily. For $10 they met my immediate need (see the link for a rough rendering: http://home.att.net/~JVNautilus/Hunley/reconstruction.html) but they won't meet my eventual need for a 9-man submarine crew. I don't recommend them for any serious work.

Coincidentally I'm also looking for Civil War uniforms, both for the Nationalist and Communist forces. Does anybody know where I can find them?

Hey, I didn't know Lincoln was a communist, or was he the nationalist!

Did you make or find the Civil War era firearms? If found, where?

hpviper27, where i can find the hat and guns you talk in your message because i'm a french fan of the American Civil War. For the uniforms, i think i'm create myseft the texture for Michael's Clothing Pak (with some Photoshop post render).

If you make the uniforms yourself, here's some reference material: http://extlab1.entnem.ufl.edu/olustee/uniforms/uniforms.html http://www2.inxpress.net/jwedeward/original_civil_war_uniforms.htm

Hey, I didn't know Lincoln was a communist, or was he the nationalist! I think he meant Union and Confederate. God I hope so! I'd hate to think that either the Communists OR the Nationalists won the Civil War! Or maybe he's not talking about the US Civil War?!

Thanks for the reference material, i have also many books to help me.

The real problem is y'all are calling it the Civil War, instead of by its proper name: The War of Northern Aggression. :) GrayMare

How about the Industry vs Agriculture war over trade policy that was reinvented as the War to Abolish Slavery!! (oops being sarky again!) For the commies vs nationalists, my bet is China.

angola ( ) posted Wed, 25 April 2001 at 3:47 AM

oh yeah, and for the civil war caps - I can't remember for the life of me where I got them from. Well I can remember - it was this small red and black site with a few nice downloads - but that ain't gonna help you. I think I got the models on the HD at work (I go in once fortnight or so) so if I can find the URL i'll send it along.

Of course it's China! You mean there was ever some OTHER civil war? Must be ancient history. Never heard of it.
