Subject: G2 Males - are they really free if

you belong to content paradise? That's how it looks to me. And what all do you get if you are a member. And are they really as ugly as they look. I mean, David and Apollo and even Mike3 look much better to me. But then I'm not a big fan of someone who is largely bald with long hair in the back which is how some of the pictured I've seen look. And how do they compare to other models?

And one more thing...I was tempted to join CP and get them since the price difference isn't that much, but when I click on the link for the super bundle or just the regular bundle, it says the page isn't found. Does it work for anyone else?

Thanks.

must be a different level of membership. I think I'm a member (have a name and password), but I havent' gone looking for them. After the 'Hiro Incident' (yeah, I got him, but had to go find clothes for him. You know, one of those 'value added' things for character makers would be to add a simple set of shirt and pants with a model, but that's just me. Heck, after seeing what goes into making a character, pants should be gravy..;)

I downloaded G2 James a few weeks ago but couldn't bring myself to install him. I went back to CP last week and looked at the face again. He looks crosseyed to me and the face looks distorted. I have decided to stay with the old James and my favourite Michael 3.

Has anybody actually installed G2 James? I would love to know what he actually looks like and if it is easier to pose him.

Regards Helga

The g2-Males are free if you are a passport-member ( CPs Platinum Club) as I don´t like most of the stuff they offer at CP I´m not a member. The new guy Kelvin looks pretty good to me bought him a few days ago. Never liked James because of his freaky eyes and the G2 is no improvment.

Do the G2 figures come with thier body morphs or are they seperate like Daz3D?

yes and no.

if you expect all the morphs that daz puts in and expect them to work just like daz figures then you will be disapointed.

G2 males have 4 body morphs. Ectomorph (skinny), Endomorph (fat), and Mesomorph (muscular). The head has all the expression and movement morphs. as far as making diffrent characters, they are designed to use the face room.

RuntimeDNA has made additional injectiable morphs that will give you the dial-a-character you may be looking for.

it may also interest you that all three G2 males share body shapes. that is to say they share morphs, clothes, and poses.

Are G2's a new mesh that poses don't work on and there isn't enough clothes?

Quote - Are G2's a new mesh

as with any new figure they have a mesh diffrent from all the others.

Quote -  that poses don't work on

i havent tried many poses, but i believe someone said they were grouped similar to the existing P6 people. so daz poses are unlikely to "work" and existing p6 poses should work to some extent.

they also have the plugins for puppet master if you have that you can make poses from daz figure poses.

Quote -  and there isn't enough clothes?

how much is "enough"?

there are a couple of things out there and PoserWorld already has an outfit that i know of.
