Need help please! How can i create new skin map for poser? Does anybody knows some good tutorials (with images)and software for this stuff? Thank a lot for your interest... :))

Not sure about where to find the tutorials, but any good image editing program can do this with ease. The best way that I know of to start off with, is to take an existing skin and edit that one in a paint program. Otherwise, load up the templates that poser comes with and then, using a paint program, paint one from scratch, basically following the template lines. (have I confused you more? lol.) Good Luck Dragontales

Well, if you have PSP or Photoshop, you can load the standard Poser texture of the character for which you'd like to make a texture, then change the size to make it at least twice as big and create a new layer (but keeping the same proportion) on which you can paint your texture using the standard Poser texture as reference :) I hope it helped, I've quiet a lot of poser tutorials I gathered from the web but none on texture painting :( Courage :) J-L (Your pics are more and more beautiful :) )

Maybe it's a stupid question,but why I should change the size?Thanx

Not a stupid question at all cocco :) It's just because the standard map is quiet small so if you really want to be able to paint a new texture, it'll be a little difficul, espeacially if you don't have a tablet and must work with a mouse. By making the map bigger you just make the things a little easier :) After having made your map you can still size it down, it'll make the eventual default less visible :) I would say, If you've enough memory on your computer, you can work with a 4000x4000 map and size it down by half when finished (I'm not a specialist of texturing in Poser, so it's just an opinion based on what I do in Max). I think there's much more qualified people around here, it's just in case no one else answer :) J-L
