Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 08 8:41 am)
I think that this is the point where I throw my self on the floor and start begging.
PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
As to The Girl's neck....
The Girl has one of the best neck geoms of ALL the poser figures that I have. Almost all of the rest tend to "break" when you tilt the head back, so that they look like a loony toons buzzard. I have not played around with Aiko because of the over-simplified face, so I cannot comment on her joint peramiters.
I had been considering fitting the many wonderfull free clothing items for Aiko to the girl, as there are a derth of similar Items, but this will solve that problem all together. I had also been lusting after the new Toon Aiko for the face, but this is better!
Thanks!!!!
Here's my thank-you picture! Very nice character! Your work is very much appreciated.
Two points to note when installing and one question:
I found myself getting confused as to where the obj file was ending up, in geometries or characters. As long as the file and reference agree, it doesn't really matter, but a thing to watch. I think I was assuming it should go in geometries when in fact it's supposed to go in characters.
Also, there seemed to be a conflicting reference to "aikogirl 2.obj" as against "aikogirl.obj". Easily fixed when found.
MorphManager doesn't seem to transfer the full-body morphs. Presumably that's a case of hacking the cr2 to do that?
Glad you like her, Phantast.
2). Yep, both lines "should" read AIKOGIRL.obj, but as she seems to work fine even with the "wrong" line so far, there´s no real need to correct it.
But for those who want to do it anyway:
Open GIRL 3.cr2 in a text editor.
Search for : AIKOGIRL 2.obj
Replace it with AIKOGIRL.obj
Resafe the cr2 to your character library.

She works fine in Poser with the wrong line, but anything else that reads pz3 files will have troubles. Just to let others know who may otherwise be puzzled when her body doesn't show up!
just a v. small, if dumb question. I've not used RTE decoder before. Only other I've used is Objaction Mover. Can someone do a quick run thru on the processes in RTE, pls?
thanx
Sheila
My aspiration: to make a decent Poser Render I'm an Oldie, a goldie, but not a miracle worker :-)
