There is one here for broken glass, although I think this will give you the results you're looking for.

You're welcome Erosia.

diolma: I use FireFox, it has a type-in search for your bookmarks. I typed in "tut".......this browser is sooo cool.

ICM: I didn't bookmark it. I downloaded it to HD instead (I was on dial-up at the time and it cost money to be connected...)
Haven't got FireFox, got SeaMonkey (and thinking about trying Opera)..:-)

Cheers,
Diolma

The breaking glass tut is the way to go...it is the same approach I used to break an egg in the image at the link. If you're careful enough you can use a terrain to break the egg down the middle and have two bits that fit back together!

great..thanks!!

Hey Friends!

erosiaart, I've made this image a while ago, is it what your looking 4?

I have no time to make a good tut, so if you want to, you can download the bryce object file, just look how it was done, you'll find how to reproduce it!

Greetings!

The Egg is right out of Bryce then duplicted and shrunk a bit and then negative boolean. I used a terrain to get the jagged edge then duplicated the top shell with intersect. The pieces are easy just take a couple of flat  2D vertical faces adjust them to look a little jagged add your texture. Voila! The drips on the inside as well as the egg white are Metaballs squashed or elongated depending on where they are.

Of course why make it yourself when you can download it (No offense to Pidjy). Reminds me I haven't done any instant poser (just add water and render) work lately...
