Subject: eureka

After finding out what i was doing wrong through trial and a lot of error i had a eureka moment yesterday. mmmmmmmmmm it was so good lol. i left of rigging the model till today in fear i wouldn't have the time to do it without fear of having to stop half way through. i was expecting it to take about 6 hours. as it was i started today and it took me about 3 hours. haven't done the ik chains but that will only take a min. i saved the figure as a charachter in poser, as a new obj file and as a pz3 which are all now safely stored on my external hard drive and a cd.

it moves but it can be a bit mushy cos i haven't fdone any jp's yet. i expect that'll take me another month to learn lmao. but as doc frankenstien said...she's alive, she's alive i tell you.   sorry if i sound a bit gleefull but i spent well over a month learning how to rig in poser cos of the lack of a good clear tut.

now to the jp's....anyone know any good jp tuts lol

ps. thanks for all the help given to me by some kind people that frequent this place and to those that don't but helped non the less.

this is also posted in the developers fourm cos a couple of people enquired how i was doing. hope it's not classed as cross posting

thanks karen, though my high spirits got dumped on the ground lol.

i spent the rest of the day studying doc geeps tut tried a few cool moves with the J.E and feel like i ran into a brick wall hehe. if nothing else i can use the grouping room and rig a mdoel i guess lmao.  i should do well as long as i don't do anything that does more than open and close.

I feel yer pain..despite the exasperated help of many a Poserite, I still don't grok the procedure (it looks so easy in the Geeptut..;) Is it any easier in Poser 5?
