yes, it's good, I have to prove if it is very stable, because I don't know if with my camera more the lens (example AF 75-300)  he don't move LOL....

Not bad idea, but would it hold  dslr camera with heavy dutty lens?

Cool idea!

As to whether or not it'll hold a heavy lens, look at the example of the GorillaPod PRO - I've got that video head and it's pretty heavy! If it can hold THAT (and supposedly a video camera on top of THAT), then it should hold a fairly heavy lens.
