OK i uploaded a clothing item for A3 to the freebies, it didnt show up there in 48 hours, i fiugured ok lost in the system so i did it again, 48 hours and nothing.

here I am trying to GIVE to the community and my freebie isnt appearing, perhaps some feedback on WHY it has been denied ( I am assuming it was denied since it is not showing up yet) would be nice.

This is my first attempt at a conforming clothing figure and not sure if i did something wrong in creating it and thats what is preventing it from showing, If a mod could please contact me regarding this it would be greatly appreciated.

Additionally in the future perhaps a messsage or email as to why a freebie isnt being allowed would be nice , so we can correct issues and re submit. I know this may take a little more manpower, but would go a long way, as as soon as i get the whole cr2 stuff down , get some user feedback etc i plan on making items for sale which in turn will boost renderositys sales etc etc.

Hi the freestuff goes into a holding area for the team to check. They try and get them done quickly as possible I will give them a heads up. Any time you upload a item and it isn't showing within a couple of days contact the Mod or coord over that area and they will make sure it is taken care of.

I'm not seeing anything in the pending freestuff under your username, and your active freestuff seems to be fine.  Could there have been an error when you set it up?  Because, when we fail an item in freestuff, we usually let you know why and how to fix it (or whether or not its' a trademark issue).  Could you try again, and IM me when you're done, so I can double check for you?

Unable to test if the link etc etc work's before uploading is a must ....

 and aloso noticed the following text at the very top of my screen:

sounds to me like there is a server error on your side..also i replace the user_id that appeaered with xxxx for this posting

I don't know what the problem is, mertext, but it does look like a problem on our end.  I'll alert the programmers to this thread, so they can fix it.

Ok, I've been told by one of our programmers that it appears that you are not choosing a category when uploading.  In order to not get the above message, you HAVE TO choose a category for the free stuff item.

I am a general Renderosity member uploading my images, etc. I went to the freebie area in search for free backgrounds. When I am clicking to download, it gives me an error (the pop up is blocked) I am locked in and have rebooted many times and still the same error. Why can't I download? Please help...

@ amirapsp, It sounds like your browser is blocking the pop-up window, which is not a Renderosity error. Update your browser settings to allow pop-up windows on "renderosity.com" and all should be well . Hope that helps, N
