Does anyone remember what the original install file from Daz is called? Having trouble finding it.. Gads, I hope it's not on a backup cd somewhere! I have a billion of those!

It would be in your downloads on your HISTORY on DAZ's acount files! GOTO>Daz>My Account>Itemized Order History!  It gives you the description and the name.  You can get them to reset the downloads for you!

The origianl the Girl download is called:  ps_pe048

May I please have the link to download her?? She looks great and I use the Girl a lot. What a great expansion/hybrid! :)

Well color me late to the show...from what I see and have read thus far, this is pretty brilliant.  I'm a fan of taking what you have and fabricating it into something new and I'm just amazed at the result of your doing something such as this.

Well I'll be damned. Thank you Stahlratte, you secret magic helper you. I will put her to use soon as I get my machine working. When I started up Poser yesterday, it told me "One or more textures are missing or can't be read." Then it crashed back to sleep. Guess it's Reinstallation Time. Guys, the images in this thread. Well, I have been away from the forums for about a year and this is one of the best things I have seen in characters.  I have always been drawn to the Girls face and have all types of characters and morphs, but when I try to use her the body was always the issue.  I have quite a few AIko stuff and have not liked her face...now that is not an issue!!!

I would sure appreciate the link on this one, I have all the tools to do the conversion.

Amazing job on this hybrid.  I also have Tthe Girl, but I have never used her because I just didn't think she was all that cute.  Now, I think you've changed my mind about her!  Your model here makes me think of Leslie Caron from the 50s/60s.  Ooo la la!

I must admit that I am very bad with hair. Do you use hair that is just for
the Girl? I tried the Daz hair that comes with the Girl and had to adjust it.
But I noticed the renders and there are all sorts of hair being used.
I probably need to find a tutorial for hair fitting.

No.

Any hair can be made to fit just by scaling and moving it around with the dials.
(If the hair is a character instead of a prop, don´t conform it, but parent it to the head of your figure. Then move and scale the hair´s body.)
If scaling and moving doesn´t suffice, use magnets.
Usually one or two magnets are enough to make even the most stubborn hair fit.
Convert the mags into a morph target and save the modified hair to your hair or character library so that you can use it again.

Guess I have been out of the forums waaaay to long .  What a beautiful way to show off The Girl!  Yes, I am going to ask to me added to that looong list of 'pretty please' may I have a link to Girl 3.  I can see it will give me a great opportunity to work with the morph manager, etc. that I have had for awhile but never used.

Stahlratte...the GIRl is a wonderful figure...very unique and definstely has her place in the Poser Lexicon and the Poser Runtime Folder. Your creation merely adds more variety to her uniqueness and versatility. I would love to get this character to render with. Where? How....please. BTW I also love your avatar! One of your creations?
