Subject: Contacting DAZ

I have a character that I'd like to release as a freebie, but there is one hang-up.  The eyebrows on the head texture were copied off of Daz's M3 Universal Textures (Hi-Res) and grafted onto an otherwise original texture using blending tools in Photoshop.  I have contacted Daz regarding permission to distribute this texture, but I'm afraid it's going to be ages before I hear back from them.  You see, I contacted  them about a month or a little more ago about brokering a product, and after I replied to their initial response, I received nothing further.  I even sent a reminder message.  Still nothing.  Is Daz notoriously slow at responding to e-mails, or is something wrong on my end?  Can anyone help me get a quicker response?

Thanks!

If and when they get back to you, the answer will almost certainly be "no". It would set a disturbing precedent for them to allow it as a one-off.

If you take a look in the Artist Resources section of the Marketplace here you'll find a lot of photo sets, and some skin resource packs which have ready-made textures included which you can freely adapt for your own needs and re-sell or redistribute as freebies:

DAZ can be slow, can be fast.... That sounds like something I would deal with in general... Could you email me again and I;ll see what the hold up on getting a response to you was?
