There are no "perfect settings" to create an authentic looking Asian character with the standard DAZ morphs, simply because they don´t include true epicanthic eye folds.
So the only options you have are:
Buy a custom morphed character set for V3 which has the correct eye shape. (Like Khrys "JieJie" for example)
Use a modelling program and/or magnets to create your own morphs for V3.
Buy MIKI and convert her with the converter you can find here in freestuff so you can use her in P4/PP/P5.
Or use HAVE´s free "Eroko" character.
(Do a forum search for the link.)
She comes with a "detachable" face you can parent like a mask to V3´s head.
You need to do a little morphing (with magnets) to get Vicky´s face out of the way, and there will be a visible seam. around the chin/neck/ears.
But if you use longer hair or don´t mind postwork, this is the cheapest and easiest solution to make V3 look truly Japanese:
Eroko only has some basic expression morphs, so if you need more versatility, you´ll have to stick to the other options I listed.

IME, it's impossible to get a realistic looking Japanese face on V3. At least if you want to use any expressions with it.
The International Beauties package at DAZ has some okay Asian face morphs, but they only look good if you don't try to add any expressions. If you do, the eyelids break, the teeth poke through the cheeks, etc. Steph Petite is a little better, but her eyelids still look weird with the Asian face morphs if you try to show her blinking.
There's a reason why I shelled out for Miki, despite having V3, SP, and a bunch of supposedly Asian characters for them. Miki was designed to be Asian from the start, and it makes a huge difference.
Thangs Yng and all. Wow i got Eroko, and that is a good character. Great. Too bad, i can't fit any of V3's clothing or shoes onto her body. i haven't tried the mask trick. Wow, that Eroko is a good Asian character. i gotta find a solution to the clothing problem though. thanks . I'll get Poser 7 later on, so let's see what happens, but in the meantime i'll try with what i have
It's worth remembering that Miki has add-on morph packs which give fairly good non-oriental faces. Whether they're better than V3 as Japanese, I don't know, but Miki's general body shape is also more ordinary, not the supermodel that V3 resembles. Where the DAZ figures come out ahead is in the huge amount of conforming clothing available for them.
For some Eroko clothing do a search at PoserPros free stuff forum. Not much, but enough for the poor girl to not run around nekkid ;)

Vicky can be as ordinary as YOU want her to be. ;-)
This is what I´ve got after an hour of scaling, using her default bodymorphs and eight magnets:
And here V3/Eroko compared to the original MIKI:

"Yeah, but then you have to dress her."
And where is the problem ?
If the clothes have bodymorphs, just use the same dial settings for the clothes that you used for the body.
And the nice thing about magnets is that they can be saved and then reused for the clothes, too.
Or spawn a full bodymorph from the new bodyshape, and use that to make the clothes fit with one of the cloth converters that are out there.

Morphed might be different, but I've found v3 morphs work just as well.
The real issue is not so much the morph, but the texture and lighting. You need to change what texture you apply to v3 to get her to really look right.
A little more nose work and the two attached might not be bad. They're from:

Maybe Japanese, but not Asian, nor even typical Japanese. I'll concede that if, as the original poster stated, you wanted a Japanese look, Miki might do. But she's no more Asian than V3.
And as someone who is Chinese and has lived in Korea as well as grew up in a city that is 40% Asian, Miki is very unusual looking, even for a Japanese...
You guys are half Polynesian after all - you often look very different from mainlanders.
The images I posted above have their own issues as well, but are certainly no -worse- than Miki.

I dunno, I know a lot of Japanese girls who look a lot like Miki. (I'm from Hawai`i.)
It is possible to morph V3 into a fairly realistic Asian look. The problem is the expression morphs don't work after you morph the mesh that much. You have make all new expression morphs to go with the new head morph.
Miki, OTOH, is wonderfully expressive. It's the one thing e-Frontier does right. Their faces are beautifully expressive.
I'll have to check that out once I have Poser 7. I have seen morphs of Miki that looked Asian mainland or Japanese to me, but I've not worked with her enough to know how well expression morphs held up as opposed to how they hold up in V3.
I never use expression dials at their full settings anyway, I use them usually in the .3 to .5 range, sometimes as high as .7, and mix and match them to get better results. Maybe I wouldn't need to do that with an eF figure from what you're saying.
V3 expression morphs at full dial settings look bad even on an unmorphed V3.

With most V3 ethnic head morphs, including DAZ's, even low settings of the expression morphs look horrible. (The blink or smile morphs, for example.)
Khrys partially addresses this with his Asian characters, by including some custom expression morphs, but they are very limited compared to the full range of expressions.
BTW, you can use Miki even if you don't have Poser 6. There's a utility in free stuff that will convert the external morphs to internal, which is the only thing that's P6-only. And DAZ|Studio can read PMD files now.
Just a tip: If you already plan to get P7 and you may want to have a look at the " Poser 6 English Collector's Edition Volume 1 UPGRADE", it contains Miki and several clothes and things for her.
I'm not always right, but my mistakes are more interesting!
And I am not strange, I am Limited Edition!

It's easy! Just buy this remarkably bizarre product and you can turn any supported character Japanese. http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=40793
I don't know HOW he did it, but it is a morph pack for almost every major poser character. AND you get an ORIGINAL Poser Figure,TOO. AND some clothes for her, too.

I was just going to post a link to Satoko by Toshyio but I see it's already been done. :) I highly recommend her, she's gorgeous and for me, I find she's the best asion fave out there... :) Since you can use her head on pretty much any of the gen 3 gals, it makes her very versatile too. You may want to get the expansion for her as well, it's fairly cheap and has many many additional morphs, the promos don't show them very much, but they are worth the price imho...

I think the image "Japanese beauty" by Lucie of Satoko shows the character very well. I also think Satoko's face on V3 rocks.

Quote - The tall Victoria 3 may not be the most suitable figure to make a usually rather "petite" Asian / Japanese figure. But you can always try "Rumiko" in the freebies here.
Whoa. How did you pull off the back tattoo? I'd always wanted something like this, but though it was nigh-impossible due to the seam issue of the texture map on her back.

i have body morphs and Head morphs for Victoria 3 but all my attempts to make an Asian or Japanese woman using the morph dials are not very good. It just doesn't look like a real asian even though the morphs say HeadAsian, headJapanese, etc. Anyone have the perfect settings i should use to make V3 look like the Poser 6 MIKI , in other words, a real japanese person. I have Poser 5 and i'm not going to spend money for poser 6 or MIKI at this time
