Has anyone heard of a hidden feature called tree maker or hair generator for Poser? Is there such a thing and how do you get to it?

Yes. In Poser 4, just select an item and type the following letters on your keyboard: hair

That is so cool.. all that time modeling my own hair in TrueSpace and it's in poser. How did I miss that I read the manuals. Is it in the manuals? Are there any other hidden features?

Uhm tried it looked great at first but it didn't stay. When I rendered it it dissapeared. Are there any tutorials on this?

It's not in the manual...it's an easter egg. I'm not sure how to get it to show up in your renders, but maybe someone else around here knows. It's certainly not perfected...you'll probably find that the modeling you did in TrueSpace was not a waste of time.

MASA has 2 fanstastic tools. The Drop Maker and FurFur. For both you don't need to make too many hairs on your object. All you need to do is export the spawned hair obj. Drop Maker can create a water droplet effect (which looks great in Bryce). FurFur creates a 2 sided mapped obj out of your hair obj. That means you can actually render the hair with some cool results. http://www.eurus.dti.ne.jp/%7Emasasi/Service/indexE.html
