Wow, Velen, that looks great, really! I'm not sure what your problem is with the water, unless you mean that it seems to be flowing the wrong direction. If that's what you mean, try re-scaling and rotating the individual axes on the bump functions. Love the trees--- you seem to be a real Vue natural. :) --Mike

thanks Mike and yes thats part of it the main problem is the waters edge where it meets the shore, looks very unnateral to me there isnt any blending if you see what I meen. Vel

Hee, hee Velen, the colour of the water reminds me of the flood muddy water in India or those from their river bank. Try changing the ground to mild dark green or blue and see if you get something tropical. (IMHO) Varian...eh!...since when Vue has given us apple trees...looks like orange to me though.

Well maybe Vue doesn't have an apple tree yet, but those sure aren't oranges. :) And hey, the muddiness of the water looks very natural to me. If it were tropical-hued, it would seem out of place with the non-tropical surroundings. This looks like the sort of river channel one can see around here; I'm in the "chain o'lakes" region of northern Illinois.

Try putting some subtle lighting on the trees and nearby grassy areas. It will really make it "come alive"...

LOL thanks all and yep sposta be apples. and thank you for the comlement these arent VUE trees :) there my Lightwave trees :) the water was sposta be muddy this is a recreation of a ketch basen from when I was a kid had an apple orchird hat was left grow wild had the best Grany smith apples :) havent played witht he lighting yet :) just set the sun to late afternoon :) will be playing with that after I get the water edges to look like water and not malasis or something hehe Laters Vel :)

I was right!...knew I was right!...thsoe were apples and I knew that tree came from LW corrections...errr...I mean collections!...and I knew you wanted the muddy water from those of Singapore river...err...I mean ketch basen (bsain?).
