I want to delete some poser stuff from my computer, there's a delete icon in library but does it delete textures and obj files at the same time? Is there an easy way to delete texture files and obj files of stuff at the same time?

hi,

I just started a thread yesterday on library organisation, people are putting tips and tool references in there, so have a peek.
Deleting is tricky since textures (and objects too) etc can be referenced by multiple other objects.

The delete button in Poser only deletes the file you have selected, and the accompanying rsr and/or png.

You have to delete the textures and obj files seperately, and as aRtBee mentioned, they can be referenced by other items, or named in such a way as to be hard to make sure what to delete.

When I find I want to delete a file and the obj and texture files that it uses, I use P3d0 explorer. Simply by selecting a cr2 or pp2 it shows where any other files it references are, and what their names are, and using its interface makes it real easy to delete the uneeded files.

ShaderWorks will do the job. See the other "Like to have Library Organisation comments" thread, where Semidieu himself pops in, for the download links etc.
Or ... just don't delete, and go for the 100Gb monolithic runtime as other people seem to like (see the "Can you beat this???" thread).

All the best,
