I am not trying to advertise but that was a fantastic deal for Bryce 6 and all that content! I cannot believe I got a coupon for like 15 free DAZ creations!!! And I got Bryce 6 for 6 bucks are you kidding me? That was awesome!!! I am still sorting through all the files, and I have just loaded Bryce 6 which for 6 bucks is an incredible upgrade!

If you have not done it go get Bryce $36 total for all you get is one of the best deals I have seen since Bryce first started. Is this a huge upgrade to Bryce, no but just what they added is well worth the my six dollars.

Few things from my first render. I imported a Bryce 5 file and re-saved and the file size is around 30 MB difference. I can't wait to play more with some of the new features!

ONE BIG WHOOPS the trees still have that stupid lump in the middle WHOOPS! Maybe they can finally fix that in Bryce 7? Which I can already tell is going to be a quantum leap above the Bryce we all know. In my line of work we have an old Database interface that is getting an overhaul and it is so funny to watch developers curse old code writing and bad code.

I do have to say Kudos to DAZ this was a fantastic offer and a nice improvement on Bryce I love the old layout but the new ways of adding content like skies, materials, etc. I can definitely see the potential that Bryce seems to have a brighter future now and I am very happy!

And Zhann,.......no, that's my drivers license photo. I am a cute little bugger, ain't I ? Oh sorry,...........that was a different thread, wasn't it ? Actually,......I do think it is sort of a major upgrade,.........true HDRI support(even if it is those damnable probe HDR's), and true multi-threading, GOOD multi-threading, WOOHOO ! I render an HDRI image of a crystal sphere over a mirror and pull up the Task Manager to the Performance tab just to see all 4 cores pegged at 100%,...............man, that's entertainment !

I have done a couple of render crash free but still 6 bucks? Or if you want to get nitty gritty 36? For Bryce? I know I have payed a heck of a lot more of each version back to 2! And for anyone who does not have Bryce that is awesome! I have a feeling Daz will keep with patching in January, and I have had no unstable problems.

I dunno if any of you care about additional stuff... but I also bought a legitimate cross-grade to hexagon modeller, for mere 30 or so bucks...   And plan on getting carrara for just over a hundred bucks...

I just looked, full version of carrara (not pro) with platinum club discount is $124. Upgrade from c4 is $49. I can't find the crossgrade... I would have sworn I had it on my wishlist... Maybe it was a temporary promotion I missed, or I remembered something wrong.  You're basically getting at least 50% off! Same on Carrara Pro, you can get it for 50% off, which is around $230ish instead of $550ish.   Looks like most of DAZ items are 50% off when you're a member. Plus, looks like there's extra freebies too.

Better hurry, since the 50% off Daz Originals PC member discount is only for October. As of November 1, the discount reverts back to its normal 30%.

I have been a Platinum Club member for several years now, and it is definitely worth it. In my case, I had $1.03 left on my monthly voucher, and that was taken off the $6 price, for a total of $4.97 for Bryce 6.

I joined the PC just for Bryce, and they gave me a $5 voucher (so I actually got it for $1).
Plus a few months back I got a one-month mebership when they were selling Hexagon for $1.99.

I couldn't work out how to use the $5 voucher with Bryce 6 so paid $6 for it :-(

Voucher use is automatic, unless you check don't use gift certificates or vouchers. The checkout was not supposed to take the voucher off of the PC price, but, there was a glitch in the special price coding, until Matt got it fixed.

If you want to use poser content in Bryce, it is best to remain a PC member, cause you get a lot of good stuff at $1.99, and the voucher is good on Daz Originals, and off the Daz portion of Brokered items.

That Bryce 6 for $6 is the Full, not the upgrade. The upgrade version will be available around Nov 21-22, when the PC special price has ended.
