Subject: Setting additional lights parent to figure

kruse ( ) posted Tue, 31 October 2006 at 8:27 AM · edited Thu, 28 November 2024 at 1:47 AM

Hi all,

We like to use an additional light (point) to one of our new figure. It's a simple lamp with a bulb.

We applied this simple lamp out of lib into display. Then we created a new light (point) and positioned this light exactly into the bulb. Everything is working fine.

But now we like to move the lamp into other position. Here we have to move the additional light also to the new position.

Is there any way to set this light parent to the bulb, so the light is following automatically?

We had checked the 'set parent' mode but couldn't find a way to set this light parent to the figure. Perhaps we had overseen something.

Using Poser 6

Thank's for responding

Hi all,

found the way. It's rather simple:

open parameter dials, choose the additional light (here light4 and point)

and go to properties. There you can find a button called 'set parent' . Here you can set parent the light to object.
