I'm making this game with poser characters, and for some reason i chose size 1000 X 600, . i can't find any images this size anywhere...i guess it's not a common size. I have Vue myself, and i could just create my own images but That wuld take loads of time.. cause i don't have a super fast machine, and i'm doing 80 bgimages...eternity. scaling 3d images i find in the web is not efficient because scaling them to my uncommon size, distorts them and it looks bad. Any tips? If there are no 1000 X 600 anywhere, then any tips on creating backgrounds easily and fast in Vue 5 Infinite?

hmmm, you can always create a 1024 x 768 vue background and then take it to photoshop and crop it to the size you want by using the marquee tool, fixed size setting so you can modify it to the size you're after. that's what i usually do if i have to crop mine.

Thanks, i tried what you said. But the images i cropped then resized to 1000 X 600, looked fuzzy when blown up. But well it guess it's ok, would you know anywhere where i could find more 3d backgrounds?( city scenes, beach scenes, anyplace) that will be used as background for fighting game. I guess something that's really high quality so when i blow up the cropped part, it looks good

If  you have a clear 1024x768 image, cropping it to 1000x600 shouldn't affect image quality unless your jpg save options are set low, make sure thay are at 100% quality.

You should be able to just grab a 1000x600 rectangle of the area you want using the curser, crop it with the crop command, and save it,  You shouldn't have to "re-size" anything as the original image is bigger than what you want. Hope this helps.

Well, that's the problem..where would i find 1024 X 768 images.. I went to 3dtotal.com, they have many images but they don't seem to be 1024 X 768, and if they are, the cropped part i would take, has a sense of being a cl ose up, since you don't see entire trees, or stuff like buildings. Heck, i 'm going to stay wit h my own Vue 5 pics, that i will create. It will be time consuming to make 80 vue images, but oh well
