I had no problem with the installer portion but every time I attempt to download the extra CD, I get a page not found.

Someone in e-ons vue forums said it was a corrupted zip file and asked for it to be replaced so that may be why you geting a page not found. :)

Actually, I received an email with a link, clicked on it and although nothing happened and I thought same thing, all of a sudden up popped the download menu....hey!!  at 34.5 kb, it should only take a few hours AND I'm on fast cable!!!!!!

I've been downloading it since 9:30 this morning GMT, it's speeded up in the last half hour, I'm now on 48% and a time left of 11 hours at 5.12 Kb/sec

I'm also on 1 Mbps broadband [lol]!!

I get the page not found error. But hey, even using my VUE6 downloader.exe it constantly times out.... this is very frustrating.

The programme itself took 13 hours yesterday!!

I wish the program would even connect...

Yea it's frustrating, you'd think they'd have realised how big this would have been, wouldn't you!!

That is a big definate YES!!  You certainly think they would have added extra servers or something because this is really frustrating.  I'm at 51% now downloading the extra CD.  Haven't downloaded the program yet....think I'll wait until this evening in the hopes that it won't be quite as busy.

My extras download has definately speeded up recently, I'm now on 63% with just 6 hours showing to go. An hour ago I was on schedule to finish it at 8 P.M. TOMORROW night so something has improved!!! [lol].

Just saw someone posted this on e-on's forums regarding the ExtrasCD:

"I believe they have just made some changes on the ExtrasCD download.
I am trying again with 4X speed increase, that is very good news.
I will know in 1 hr and 10min if it has been fixed."

Maybe this will help the rest of us who have yet to try the download?

I can't get anything from either of my links, both are 'page cannot be displayed'  :(

I have the program OK, but the link to the extras CD still does not work.  Will try again tomorrow...

Well my Extra's download has just finished, really speeded up in the last hour or so, maybe you should try it again now!!

lol...my extras cd downlaoded fine...its the main one that doesnt work for me the vue 6 infinite its self...i've hit the link about 300 times now i wont quit till i get it...they toke my money quick enough lol

Hahaha!  No problem taking our money.  I have the extra Cd download now - course I don't know if it's corrupt or not but now I'm downloading the program 1/2 it says...so there must be two files...gad!!  I will be downloading all night I guess since it's only at 18% although it seems a little faster than the CD extras download.

A real nightmare!!  People on modem would never be able to download this mess.

I got this problem also, also there is problem with content if Program is installed on different drive than content.  I also notice crash if attempt to render a scene with not all the content there.

This is on 64 bit version. I have not try the crash problem with 32 bit version or on my 32 bit machine. I running xStream (Lightwave)  - not sure if that makes any difference.

But thanks for thread.  I will definely re-download the extras cd.  Extra cd is still small size. But it might be different from xStream and Infinite. Is there another place besides the E-on email to get it.

still can't download the main program.  Pretty annoyed now, I have better things to do with my time than click a link.  This is a pain!

How do I even know if my link is a working link?  I can change it and I get the same sort of result as the one they gave me.  It's as if the link doesn't even exist.

This is terrible, why are they so unprepared!

i have the same problem rich...its a freaking nightmare i know...but what can we do ? i've sent them emails got a replie back saying they were getting to many spams and couldnt answer my mail...so nowi've had to go the long way around and research to where i can get in contact with the right people and get my link fixed...i mean dont get me wrong i'm a big lover of vue...but my god if the program isnt full of bugs i cant even get vue 6 infinite to download...if i didnt shave ,y hair i swear i'd pull it all out...two dayz i've been waiting now and it now looks like its gonna be a 3rd...i mean i only get 5 dayz to download the thing...ps they toke my money no problem...go figure lol

Malstorm, I know you're frustrated.  I don't blame you or anyone else feeling this way.  I was feeling exactly the same during the 24+ hours it took me to finally get a successful download.  I wish I could help more, but Steve Bell did post at e-on's forums that they will be extending the download timeframe for anyone who hasn't been able to get their downloads.

Please hang in there.  I do hope it gets resolved for you & every one else waiting, as soon as possible.

I succeeded in contacting eon-software yesterday about extra-CD, they answered me this morning:

"We are having problems with that link once it is fixed you will sent a new down load link. thanks for your patients.
