Wabe?  What smoke are you crackin'?
Can't you see he has "Big Brother's Watching You" eyes, creepy give-you-the-willies antennas and on top of that........he's pointing a whomping big finger at me.

So do I trust him?
Uh-uh.  I don't think so.

But no long hair ariannah, no long hair. Definitely a plus! Too sad that you do not trust even your big brother. I think i have to report that.

I thought this thread was about Skinvue 6 being Mac compatible... You are obviously giddy with the prospect! (So am I.) But does this mean Skinvue 6 will be compatile with Mac PPC? I'm still slumming it with a G5 Quad.

Tashar59 ( ) posted Sat, 04 November 2006 at 2:41 PM

Is there a release date for this?

ariannah ( ) posted Sat, 04 November 2006 at 2:51 PM

beryl, none that I know of, but I'm hoping Dave will stop by and maybe drop all sorts of tantalizing hints here for us?

weetim - at least you have a quad!  it better work on my dual G5.  pleeeeease?
otherwise, my face is going to look alot like the one in your avvie.

Don't worry, be happy. I tested it on PPC and on an Intel Mac. Worked.

Hi posted to dave on a forum about it. He thinks it might take up to 2 weeks before it is available. Just because of the eon swamping thing. Love esther

wabe - thanks, that's great to read!

esther - that will be perfect for me.  I'll need at least 2 weeks to begin learning my way around Vue. :)

Not much more I can add here to what Wabe has alreay said.  By the way, all you Mac users can thank Wabe and Rick Schrand for the Mac port of SkinVue6.  It would not have been possible without their gracious help.

In terms of the availablity, we need to give some time to Christie and the e-on folks to get everything sorted out with the new Vue6 release first.  The download Tsumani continues.

But but but, I want it now whahwahwha... Okay, I'll try and wait but I really am eager. Hope you are giving some thought about how to toonify/cell shade the rest of the vue scene ie plants, terrain, buildings etc. A one click solution would be way cool! Love esther

Estherau,

The SkinVue6 Toon Render Filter will produce a quasi-toon shading effect for an entire scene but it's far from perfect solution.  I'm hoping that one of the Poser Toon Shading gurus will become inspired someday and make a real quality toon shader for Vue.

estherau ( ) posted Sat, 04 November 2006 at 8:35 PM

I'm so looking forward to trying it. It might be more than adequate for my needs (hopefully). Love esther
