while doing a scene and waiting for a render,i noticed some Mt DEW spray on the screen and other parts of the computer so i grabed the 409 and started cleaning making the spots disapear. when cleaning the key board everything went whacky, someplace on the left sind of the board the ctl alt & shift key area then poser now has a black screen a few clicks and a color picker box comes up now and the poser screen is brown where it should be grey so whot did i get into

Hmmm...did you accidently activate the Poser 2 interface? I think to switch back you just have to type "p3" (without the quotes) and it will switch back to the Poser 3 interface...I think.

po2 will take you to the P2 interface, po3 should bring you back.

Here's a funny little story from a computer repairman I know (by the way. This is a true story): "People used to come into my shop and ask me "what's the best way to clean my keyboard?" every single day. I got tired of telling people that they could clean them anyway they wanted. Because keyboards are not fragile at all. To make things worse. Some geek decided to sell those little vaccum cleaners. Which adds to the myth that keyboards are too delicate too clean in a normal fashion. Finially, I got fed up. And I put a bucket of soapy water behind the front desk where people came in for service. When people came in with that question. And had the keyboard with me. I'd take it from them, give it a look like I was thinking hard about how to clean it. Then I'd chuck it into taht bucket of soapy water. KERPLUNK! SPLASH! The looks I got from people were hilarious ;-)." Before I heard this. I used to clean my keyboard one key at a time. And I could never get it as clean as I wanted. Now I just unplug it. Bring it into the bathroom. And hose it down with water and a little soft scrub. My keyboards look brand new even after several years. The only important thing is to make sure it's dry before plugging it back into the computer. And don't clean it while it's connected to the computer. ScottA

The PO2/PO3 interface switch is undocumented.
