Subject: Where can I get models of armor and weapons?

I have looked at quite a few websites, but very few of them have any armor/weapons. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can obtain these types of items? I am specifically looking for medievial armor and weapons.

The Renderosity Marketplace has several good pieces of armor. There is even a little in FreeStuff. DAZ3D has a little for sale. And Xurge's site at SteelProportions is another source. Start at these sites, and check out their links. There's lots out there. - JimX

There are quite a few weapons available in the Free Stuff section on this site. I downloaded quite a few a couple of nights ago.

Though I haven't used it yet, the screen shots of Yoroi Orleans armor look quite nice. And it meets a very important criterion for me: it's free.

I highly suggest the Orleans armor, it's awesome. I made a post the other day with some in-progress pics of my new render with a woman wearing that armor(note, the helmet doesn't come with it, but the sword does): http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12356&Form.ShowMessage=281833 There's also some good armor here: http://posergamers.critical-depth.net/downloadsrpg2.htm Try searching in the freestuff for studio187, I think he/she/they made several medieval-type weapons. Mertex also made some good weapons and stuff, but all his links appear to be dead. Good luck, -Kage

More armor than you can shake a stick at :) [![philc_agatha_white_on_black.jpg](http://www.philc.net/images/logos/philc_agatha_white_on_black.jpg)](http://www.philc.net)

I've looked at your armor quite a few times Phil. If I only had some money...and a credit card. Oh well.

Phil, That "stick" you are shaking is a 14 foot lance, by any chance? The lady knight and horse armor worked beautifully in my project, and I appreciated the smart propping. :) I used Bloodsong's blanket because I could extend the skirts to look more parade-like, but your tack fit nicely on top, and the posable reins were ideal.
