THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Looking for "leafmeshes" and "trunk"

Hiya. I'm desperately trying to locate a freebie (I think it was in 3ds format), that contained several leaf meshes and trunks. Some of the leaf meshes were autumn coloured, one was called leaf mesh standard green.

I have them installed in my Bryce 5 library, but unfortunately I can't find the original zip file, so I don't know who made it, or where to get hold of it again.

Does anyone remember??

You could export them from your B5 library, and import to 6, if that's what you're trying to do. I just use Amorphium or one of the others to make trunks.

Thank you. :) But you see, it's not for myself. I can get them to Bryce 6 fine, but since I don't know who made it, I can't ask if I can give it away. Therefore it would be great to find the original, so that they could download it themselves.

It seems like I remember seeing something like that, but I can't remember who offered it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Perhaps they could find something similar at one of the other sites.

There's a couple of free programs at Rich Schafermeyer's site. Tree Magic Shape Maker will create trunks, while Stump Maker will, surprisingly , create tree stumps. BTW, you can create trunks in Bryce, using the terrain editor.

BTW, are you looking for LeafLats.zip, a set of leaf lattices done in Bryce 4?

Pinheads meshes at 3DC maybe?

Though there are no restrictions stated in the writing with the download it's probably still best to site mail and check if you're actually wanting to give something away.

Hope that helps

Kathy

yes! Thank you, thank you thank you! I can't believe that I didn't check out  3dcommune! I've used all the search engines there is, and tried all combinations of leaf/meshes/trunk/ lol

I'm not going ti give it away, but rather post a link to them in my class. But I will sure mail him and ask! :)
