What is the best way to import texture in Bryce 4 when is made with a 2D software like Corel Photopaint or Photoshop. I know how do it, but what i mean is to be able after that to ajust the noise, phase and etc.

Well, you got me. As a 2d image (bmp, jpg, etc) you can manipulate the ambiance etc, but to go to the material lab I think you need to have a .mat file which, as far as I know, has to be generated in the mat lab.

noise and phase are things that apply to 3d procedural textures in the Deep Texture Editor. something you've made in 2d software is not and cannot be made into a 3d procedural texture. 2d texture sources can be combined with 3d texture sources, however, which can make your 2d source look more like it's a 3d procedural, even though it isn't. see my tutorial on using images in Bryce materials to see what I mean by combining the 2d and 3d components. -calyxa
