Posted at cgtalk.com, some guy decided to give everyone a butloads of highres textures for free. Unfortunately they are not "pre-cut" and as sch you'll need to cut out the useful part from the image and do any color correction/brighness adjustments yourself. Still, a lot of useful stuff. I just don't have the patience to sit and wait for 1/2 of GB to download.. and i got cable...

I just qeued them all up and then watched monters inc. Took about an hour and a half for all of them to download on 6.0mb dsl.

A place I've just come across (and that everyone else probably has known about for years) is cgtextures. Some nice stuff in there :)

Actually, Flak, I didnot have had that, I added it to my favorites, and no "overwrite?" window came up, lol. Ooooo...(now browsing it a bit..."grunge maps", nice!)
