ok, so you all have profile pictures or avatars, but do you have one of those candid shots of yourself taken by a friend in the act of being the photographer you are?  One of my friends captured this on the jolly day that was raisin monday at our university the other day... and what is that!? i was caught chimping!! 😊

Dont worry - i got her back - tho without the chimping bit 😉

lol - ironic really that photographers are camera shy - maybe it is because camera shy people generally are the ones in group photos to be the "unfortunate" one who has to take the photo... they selflessly volunteer their services... and thus the interest in being behind the camera and not infront of it blossomed... am i right? 😉

This is me with my sister-in-law at a recent race/walk event for cancer patients.  I have those images still to edit and post in a thread, as promised a while ago!

My sweet wife has the camera.   So..there is TomDart in all his glory.   Glory is best when next to a lovely lady.          TomDart.

**m**e **doing what I do best with a tad of post work to illustrate the solo I was playing....**

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Great to see all of your backs, sides and tops -- LOL. Perhaps Rich is correct, our lack of enjoyment in front of the camera perhaps led to our interest behind it in some small way, heheh. It is nice to see you all doing what you love. Okay, found on of me my wife took about 2 weeks ago. And no, I'm not chimping, I'm composing. It is called live preview for all of your DSLR users! :m_tongue2:

Bobby - that shot reminds me of the psychadellic stuff i would associate with Jimmi 😉  tho you dont have the mouth forming an "O" hehe...

Nice shots people - interesting to see 😄

And Kort - its freezing up here... my fingers were actually hurting in that shot and i am wearing those gloves!! (i had three warm layers on underneath that snowboarding jacket and was wearing two pairs of trousers ) - i dont think it has hit 0 during the day yet but we are getting close... i hate getting up in the morning these days :(

Rich,
Actually, from my age I wear the psychadellic stuff with authenticity, and am in fact playing at that moment, a fairly psychadellic folk song tho it's better played on acoustic guitar my Martin0017 was in for repairs. Generally I'm photographed with an acoustic guitar and often sitting down as befits my advanced age...LOL
