The signature in the form strips too many backslashes from the value gotten from the database.

In practice this means my:
(/)
(='.'=)
(")(")
in my signature shows as:
(/)
(='.'=)
(")(")
in the form, instead of how it should be shown.

Can anyone of the PTB forward this to the programmers please?

LOL…little bug? This whole board is a bug. So you didn’t like hearing us gripe when they first changed over? Now it seems it’s your turn. Anyway, while you’re at it, please tell the PTB to fix the whole mess. ;^)

lol. noticing one wrongly placed command isnt the same as dissing the entire forum. btw, i do think the forum has gotten less usefull since it's original launch çuz of over-cluttered gimmick additions, so i'm less positive about the forum now then i was at 1st.

I suggest people at 'rosity go sit around the table, make up a nice scematic of all functions and features, and try to scale it down to a more managable structure. It's really the only BIG thing this forum needs. (if they do that i hope the programmers were smart enough to take an object-oriented approach to things and make form multiplexers and form generation and validation classes and stuff like that)

As a webdesigner, i never bothered to support AOL :tongue1: if you dun like IE, get Firefox 😉
Then again, here in the netherlands there's prolly a handfull at max who use AOL...
