Have you seen this one? http://www.daz3d.com/shop.php?op=itemdetails&item=3558 I never know whether to be scared or laugh my head off, but it IS different than all the other dinos out there! And the idea is kinda scary if you think about it. :-) Here are some others you might like: http://www.daz3d.com/shop.php?op=itemdetails&item=2288 (click the links to see the individual dinos available) Have you seen the Millennium Dragon http://www.daz3d.com/shop.php?op=itemdetails&item=4624 Hope that helps!

I'm hosting several of Scott Ayer's models at the link. Plenty of free dinosaurs there, but since I've never seen a real dinosaur I can't vouch for their quality. ;)I don't think there is such a thing as a "best" dinosaur. They all have advantages and disadvantages.
The Content Paradise dinos are cheap (well, the ones that were former freebies, anyway). They take into account the latest research, and are overall more scientifically accurate than average. And they come with walk cycles and other animations.
But the textures are pretty bad. I don't know why, but CP's animal textures tend to be poor overall, and texturists have said the way they map their models makes it hard to make textures for them.
DAZ's dinos have nice textures. They are well-made, but many of them are older models. The prices are high compared to other dinos out there; you might want to wait for a sale.
And of course, the price of Scott's dinos can't be beat.
Plateosaurus is in the store now...
Coelophysis will join it soon, hopefully by this weekend...
...and there are several more in various stages of development. I will continue to publish some through DAZ, some through RawArt, as I want to keep both my stores 'fed' with products...
I also made the Chicken-Raptor (for DAZ) that Kierab linked above, as well as the Dilophosaurus, also at DAZ, but it is an older model, and not quite up to my current standards.
I'll be starting a Product Showcase thread for the Coelophysis later this week when it goes 'live' - and you can expect a new dino to appear at DAZ sometime shortly after the holidays (it will be, um, "a very well known dinosaur" of at least the same quality as the critters shown here... )
