I dunno.  I just wanted to do something simple, like a Terry Redlin.  Conniekat's model gave me an idea, so I'm going to town on that one for a little bit while inspiration on my other projects builds back up.

Why not have a fish jumping out of the water in the fore ground?

You know, I was toying with that, but getting the ripples right is a pain in the tush.

I was thinking if I can track down a model of a loon or a duck that'd be even better.  Right now I'm working on the treeline and the reeds are nothing more than a terrain object I threw together to cut down on the poly count rather than use some incredibly complex models I have that eat my processor alive.

Still toying with the idea though. :c)

Well, you could use a terrain for the pond; cover it with water material and stretch it larger enough to complete the scene ... or integrate it as a spot ripple into a water plane. You get the general idea.

Didn't you know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That's why eyedrops and rose-colored glasses are needed.
