Subject: Has anyone used 'Wild Hair' ? Any problems encountered?

FutureFantasyDesign ( ) posted Wed, 29 November 2006 at 3:31 PM · edited Sun, 19 January 2025 at 8:16 PM

Hi Forum,
I purchased 'WildHair' by Polymage, over at Content Paradise. I thought it looked good, so I also purchased 'WildHairMale' and a texture pak 'WildThing for WildHair'.  I am not exactly happy with this product, it seems the "Cap" of the hair stays staionary and flat, no real movement, and the posing parameter dials work but it is a real struggle to achieve a good look. Has anyone else used this hair? Is there a trick to it, that would help me to be satisfied with it's performance? I am ready to request a refund, only because in spite of lovely promo pics....it really doesn't seem to be working for me at all. ThanX to who ever has used it, and can give me some pointers!

Is there water in your future or is it being shipped away to be resold to you?

oh my mistake it's not a store item. Probably best asking in the Poser forum. I agree the promo shots look good

ThanX DD...I was only hoping that this had some wide exposure. That is why I asked in the Community Forum....As yet i really haven't seen this in use much, so I don't know if it is so much new, or just not favored. It hasn't worked for me and I actually did ask to be refunded. But then I am no render god, nor do I know everything there is to know about forcing the most out of a hair pak...I have something like 50 hairs and love them all....so it is surprising I can't/couldn't master this one.
ThanX again....
HuggerZ!

I have used WildHair with great results...it is a bit of work to pose, that is for sure, but worth the effort

I have wild hair and to be honest once you get the hang of it it is awesome and really versatile.  I would reccommend getting the Wild at heart (I think that is the name of it) pose pack for it from RDNA makes it a but easier to manage:)   You can see some images with it below:

ThanX RebelMommy! I know it looked awesome...but it is a bear to work with.  Brandy also mentioned the hair fit pak as well. Just hate forking and forking out money left and right.
LOL!
