Subject: User Name Change?......Is it really such a good idea?

I am sure I am not the only one totally bewildered by this. 

I daresay those that take up on it have their reasons, but I just find it damn confusing. :0(

If like me you have a long list of favourite vendors it is a real PITA having to sort out who is who now! .....Also how long for. :0/

Is there some way of at least giving a heads-up in peoples favourites lists of 'who is who' now?

Feeling a little lost now! :0(

**It was instituted at the requests of members so that's why. You can easily search out who has changed their name, tho I doubt a vendor would do that having invested time in building a name recognition factor up, by looking in the side bar under Name Changes...see also the link.....**

 

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

I wasn't querying why......I was just expressing doubts as to whether it is a good idea!

At least a couple of merchants on my favourites list have changed. 
When I get the opportunity to get around to it, I will try to work out who they were! :0/

No problem, we are here to help...

 

Once in a while I look around,

it's a good idea to give members the option to change names IMVHO. i daresay they'll iron out the various snafus associated with it (e.g. the merchant thing) ASAP. the more options the members are given to use this site, the better.

Actually it might be a good idea if as a part of the name change the system sent out a site mail too those who've added that person to their fav lists.

Is it possible to program like an ebot too do that stacey or william?
