Subject: Crop advice solicited...any thoughts?

This is a shot from the car on Interstate 71, Ohio, USA, cold and rainy day with one break in the sky...shown here.  

I am drawn between a vast expansive photo and a tight crop, like near the trucks left side. I have looked at this too much to be rational about a decent crop right now... This is to sleep on for me.  For you, it is fresh. Got any crops suggestions? Post crops as you wish.   Thanks.     TomDart.

I liked the exposure since it seemed to convey the feel of the day and the scene.  The little part here shows where spot metering was used in the exposure(see colored circle).  EXIF is 1/800 sec, ISO 200, f/5.0, fl 44mm.      TomDart.

The image is close to straight from camera plus minor sharpening.

i live in washington state....seattle has had about 13" of rain this month...so i know RAIN  :)

This is my choice for the cropping... Added some Shadow/Highlight and a Nik Sunshine filter.

Hi Guys,
Very interesting views on the same image.
Now a question or two.
What is a Nik sunshine filter.
How did oldworld achieve the rain effect ????

for ejn:
rain
in photoshop create a new layer....
fill it with a grey or blue....
add noise....
use a motion blur filter....
thats it...

@ ejn: Sorry for coming in late... Nik Sunshine filter is one of the many photographic filters in the Nik Color Efex Pro 2.0 plugin for Photoshop; IMHO the best photographic tools for Photoshop.

I like the tail lights of the truck showing more.  I thought that was in my posted image but not.
I will likely try to use a layer mask to bring out the lights on vehicles and keep the darkness overall to the roadway.  We will see.  Thanks for the suggestions and post work.  That does help.        TomDart.
