As in which one you use and why. Just updated to Explorer 7 and not real happy with it. Although I loaded Firefox and rendo still runs like syrup on a cold day...lol     

Anyway if anyone can give me some hints on fast clean browsers I would apprecieate it.

Well, I use Firefox and IE7, and I like both of them about the same.

Is renderosity painfully slow to you?

I like Firefox also.  And for me Rendo loads right up. 

I use FireFox and it works great...  Renderosity does load up kind of slow lately....   Not fireFox's fault...   all other webpages load just fine...

Opera is without a doubt the best  out there right now. Firefox a warm second. IE,, off the cliff... They all have a plus or 2, though.

It's what IE 7 is trying to be and failing miserably!!! 

I've been a FF user since beta, Mozilla before that.  Obviously I like FF, though I've been having some browsing issues lately and can't rule FF out as the problem.

Don't like what FF 2 did with the tabs, they're overlarge now.  I'm still using 1.5.

I use Firfox as well..

I use SeaMonkey (the freebie version of FF, since the Mozilla guys gave up).

I don't (if I can help it) use any version of IE (too many "attack" warnings from my firewall/AV).

The "slowness" problem is not the browser, it's 'Rosity. I don't know why, but suspect it's something to do with the way they've interfaced their servers with the database (eg, the database must respond back to the server with an "OK" before the server is allowed to respond back to the user).

Good for security, bad for response times...

Of course, I'm probably totally off-target..

Opera at last ownership was very good - but maybe it has improved significantly since those years past.

Firefox for me (2.0).  I like the new tabs, but have already been caught out by the 'close' button (x).  I like the close button, but one has to be more cautious when navigating the tabs or, oops bye-bye. ;)

IE 0-7 - no, never, niemand, nyet, iie, nope, nada, and huh?  IE is banal crap under the consistent barrage of ten million hackers.  Like wearing a tin foil hat to protect against a multi-warhead nuclear strike.  Best 'o luck to ya, mate. :D

Kuroyume: you can get back your accidentally closed tabs with FF2.0 (and there is an extension for 1.5 that did the same). In FF2.0, it's under History:Recently Closed Tabs.

Also, under Tools:Options:Tabbed Browsing:Display Options you can tell FF to show tab closure buttons:
on the active tab only
on all tabs
nowhere
on the tab strip

I have mine set for nowhere, since the best way to close tabs with minimal chance of accidental closure is by middle-clicking on the tab you wish to close.

Unless somethings changed, that's an addon extension called "Tab X".  I've been using it for months, even before I downloaded FF v2.0.   Check "Tools" and then "Extensions".  It's there when I look.  Just uninstall it if you don't like it.

Might have been added to FF 2.0's functionality.  There is no Tab anything Add-on listed (I only have BBCode, Tweak Network, and Image Zoom).

I have used Slimbrowser for years...It is a sort of a skin to IE but it is more sophisticated than that. ;0)

I like Opera, I can save my progress in sessions. So I might have two browser windows open, each with 15 or so tabs.... just save the session, render or reboot... or whatever I wanted to do, and reopen everything right where I was at when I'm done. It's very slick. I can also copy a web address, right click in a new tab and instead of "paste" there's also a "paste and go" option so it saves a step. It's a great feature that I miss when I fire up FF. There's a lot of neat features actually, I highly recommend it.

Actually, there is an extension for Firefox that lets you do just that. Firefox 2.0 now has an option for saving sessions built in.

Robert: here is the extension (I had forgotten that it wasn't included with 2.0) that gives you more tab preferences.

Freebie version? Unless I'm missing something, Firefox has always been free...

If I had a choice between IE7 & Firefox I'd go for Firefox every time & unless I'm very much mistaken the Mozilla guys haven't given up on Firefox in the slightest, V2.0 being the newest & imho the best.

ps the only time I force myself to click the IE7 icon is to update Windows, I mostly use Linux these days so it's not that often.
