OK, it's not really new - did it a while back, but it's the only cave I've done so I thought I'd throw it into the pot with the others.

Danke, gracias, merci, grazie, arigato, hsieh hsieh, spasibo, dhanyavad, "thengkew" & a buncha others - Adamite & Jade. It took a long time to make & involved about a dozen terrains, shaped with Corelpaint & Vistapro before importing to Bryce; and about 8 hours to render.

It was worth it, also I know how you feel...I use about 5 or 6 different apps usually to acomplish some scenes...not so much in the post render phase, mostly modelling and modelling and uv mapping to make alphachannels for textures in bryce ect ect...:)

Yes, it takes more "pre-work" than "post-work" for me most of the time. I started out with Vistapro quite a while before getting Bryce, and I still like the finer control it gives over fractalizing bitmaps into landscape heightfields. Old Vistapro was pretty good at doing mass vegetation like distant forests, too. I sure hope they have added something like that to Bryce 5.

Vistapro is also great for doing fly-by movies. Still play with it once in a while.
