Subject: my gallery - summary - most recent upload

SeanE ( ) posted Mon, 04 December 2006 at 9:24 PM · edited Sat, 01 February 2025 at 5:08 AM

I was wondering why in the "my gallery - summary - most recent upload" section, the picture itself isn't a link to the full size image?. Only the title next to it is an active link.

People by habit on the net are more inclined to click the picture than a text link....

If you are talking about "CiCi" I can click the image itself and get to the full image...also on your featured image....What browser are you using?

**Firefox here. And I can't click on the image either. Only the link next to it.

and nope....won't use IE here. It freezes on me everytime I come here. grin

Come to think of it, why should the browser make any difference? I can click on any other thumb on that page and open the full size image. Just not the one that is directly under the My Gallery. The biggest thumb on the page and the first one you see.**

Ohhhh! I see what you are talking about now..it looks different when you are looking at your 'own' gallery summary...but when anyone goes to your gallery homepage, they dont see the summary like you would...they see your featured image at the top, and then your 3 most recent uploads below that...and those images are clickable.

I dont know why our own summary most recent images are not clickable tho..weird. I will ask about that one. Still if you are worried about others being able to click on your most recent uploads, or featured image, they can. ;)

I ask about the browsers all the time because in case there is some issue with a browser, we can narrow it down ;)

And I only use Firefox...I dont use IE unless I have to..{which isn't often LOL}

**Okie-dokie. And understandable about asking which browser. Just had the thought that if you can click on one thumb, then you should be able to click on them all. grin

As for IE... even if it didn't freeze, I'm so spoiled by the tabs in Firefox, I'd still stick with it. And it has a really good pop-up blocker. Better than any I've used with IE.**

The new IE uses tabbed browsing. Firefox always messed up my pc. No I am not starting a big debate over what browser is best, people should use what they like LOL.  I am not sure why I jumped in here :-)

no, nothing to do with the browser. IE works just fine for me.

What I mean is this -->

Thats what I said in my second post Sean. Nobody sees that page but you. Everyone else sees either your homepage or the main page of your gallery, like where your stats and things are. I guess it kind of works like cPanel for php
