Get yourself a video reference, i.e. a couple kissing, then bring it into your 3D application. In MAx, you can apply .avi's and Quicktimes as textures to say a plane objects. This way, you can scrub frame by frame, checking your reference while animating your character. This makes for some really believeable animation.

Dunno how well this will be received, but has anyone made an animation that features an up-close view of two peeps kissing? Like, frenching? I'm trying to build one, and any advice would be welcome.
