Subject: V4 likeness.....could it be true?

anxcon ( ) posted Mon, 04 December 2006 at 3:01 PM · edited Mon, 23 December 2024 at 12:27 PM

Attached Link: Milla Jovovich

link goes to a very large site full of info on every movie ever made, so nothing bad there :P

for those that have seen the previews of daz3d's Victoria4
seems to have quite a likeness to Milla Jovovich eh?

i guess a true test is if daz makes renderosity delete this thread hah :P

<3 resident evil, i knew i seen that V4 face!

I'm a big Milla fan and I don't think the images at DAZ look like her, would be cool though. I have heard rumor they modeled her after a top personality, so who knows.

I don't think that modelling V4 after a specific person is such a good thing. One of the better things about the previous Vickys, was that it was the morphs used on the (neutral) base figure that made it useable for different characters. The standard Poser figures already look like a specific persons face, but are not as versatile as a result of this. If you just want a figure to use out of the box, then this is fine. Milla is a very sexy woman, but people's pictures are going to become "samey" in no time at all, if this is all you can do. A neutral face with a Milla morph would be way better.
I haven't seen any pictures of V4 but I'm really looking forward to seeing her, as I have always preferred using the Daz figures over the standard Poser ones.

I don't see it. But my eyes are cuing in that woman's nose.

To me, I'm seeing BoA in V4 in -some- of the newest renders, especially the one for the expression morph pack, a very Aiko-looking woman.

Either way, if V4 can end up looking something like both of those two, a Caucasian and an Asian, that would point to versatility. Although it may just be that she is finally a pretty Vicky face, and so we're all just seeing idealized women in her.

The attached image is a particular picture of BoA that is almost a spitting image, to me, for -one- of the V4 preview images, the one attached to an expression morph pack.

From that one could say that either:
A: Morphed she might look like this, or
B: she looks like this by default, or
C: She is pretty enough that I can see this in her while someone else sees Milla. :)

Truth has no value without backing by unfounded belief.

Sorry, but while Milla Jovovich is far from being homely, she's no great beauty IMHO. There are so many other more pretty celebrities that they could have chosen if they wanted to model the figure after someone specific.
