Found them there earlier, but... vereeeee slooooow...

My guess is... they will be very busy updating their sites and getting all the extra servers and stuff ready for the 11th d/l's.... otherwise they will have to work over the week-end...

ziggie what figure did you use to make your avatar?

sorry to derail your thread nyguy, maybe it's people trying to find details or download Poser7 that are tying it in knots.

I could log on fine last night around 10p central, but, was booted off about 15 mins later and haven't been able to log on since.

I attribute the site's issues to the fact that many people may have suddenly jumped on the opportunity to pre-order now (after reading CP's newsletter) so they can download P7 on the 11th.

Sigh....

Where is that extra bandwidth when you need it?

I was able to connect briefly at 11:30 AM (EST), but they went AWOL at about 11:45, and are still unreachable.

Last week they said it was a DNS routing issue, I wonder if they have that same issue again. Of course it is not on their end unless someone pushes the darn wrong button and requests a redirect. Those generally take 24 to 48 hours to go thru and the worst part it took over 3 days for my ISP to clear the old routing out of their system.

Right now it ain't looking good. Endless redirect loop.

Cross your fingers. This is a maintenance loop.

Maybe they should take their dot net and keep a separate backup site that they can turn on when the main site is down. Rather than redirect to the original site. Or get a Dot Biz and set up a seperate site.

[Ms Kitty needs an shelter for winter, if they buy it at www.fozzieleap.com some of the proceeds will go to purchasing a feral cat a new winter shelter and an outdoor heating pad. She is a good kitty but faces the danger of frostbite in these winter months. Fozzieleap webhosting and domain registrar was founded to provide these animals with food, shelter and love.]

Redirects? I've noticed that Content Paradise does a lot of redirects when everything seems to be working normally Which is unusual in my experience. And doing something in an unusual way can be nasty when something goes wrong. Like the Linux user being told to restart Internet Explorer.
