I think naked V4 did in the library with a CANDLESTICK!
NYAHAHAHAHH! That's right?
What are we talking about?
People are still using V2, if they have her. I think V3 will be around for a good long time.
ONE item that might be a SURE seller: CONFORMING TEARS!
That is the magic bullet that V4 has that no one has.....YET.
Someone comes out with conforming tears for various characters and they CLEAN UP!

I haven't got a CLUE about what you guys are on about... ;)

P.S. Probably good to click for the full size image - she looks kinda cross eyed just on the page here.

Roseanne or Alan Alda? ;)
P.S.: That's a very convincing endomorph.
ETA: Oops, I forgot all about Sally Struthers! :P

:) That pic is how she rendered with the standard material presets (in the complete package) dropped into a scene & lighting I'd been using for something else. Took about 20 mins to morph and clothe - all pretty straitforward. Rendered pretty fast too (apart from the hair), so it looks like they've optimised the mesh quite well.
The expressions are quite nice.
One thing that surprises me though is that some of the morphs for preset characters don't seem so good - they have names like Eva and Emma etc. Looks like there'll be more morph packs on the horizon.
First impressions are good. I'm sure there'll be a few frustrations - there always are. Mostly it seems like the additional morphs for added versatility.

Someone mentioned something about the head being 'too big', but the V4 proportions look pretty good to me. IMHO, V3's head looks too small (and the hands big as you note). I also had to laugh that it was mentioned that a bigger person would necessarily have a bigger head - not so. Head size is pretty much set at birth (it does grow slightly for the first several years). Height has nothing to do with head (or hand) size. Dwarves have regular-sized heads, but are 4' tall or less.
One has to suppose that body proportion (which varies greatly) is a matter of taste. V4 has a good proportionality. V3 was too super-model, Amazonian for me.
I don't know - was there this flaming battle when V3 was released (I'll put cash money on it!).

Too bad Stahlratte's last thread has locked, as it dealt especially with this issue of head size to body proportion.
It had an interesting and fruitfull discussion going on, until some idiot decided to butt in and insistently misinterpret everything that had been said.

There was an interesting related discussion abotu the new Cordialia Chase Sideshow action figre from Buffy. Everyone said her head was huge in comparisn tpo the body until someone posted actual screen caps.. she had really "big hair" the episode it was based on, and since scupted hair looks more "solid" it makes the head appear larger then it actually is.
Kinda funny trick on the eyes.
That said, I always though V3 was a pinhead.
My favorite head to body proportion in a figure has been jessie, James, and neftoon gal.
Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.
I reckon V4s proportions are notably more 'real world' than earlier versions.
I'll agree that Jessi was pretty good in that respect too,
........even if her body shape was eerrr....unusual! LOL

Just a small FYI if it is of interest to anyone...a bit OT but if you would forgive that.....
I just offered up RonStuffs Precision Measuring Tool prop to V4 and she comes out at an impressive 5' 11"
If you scale her whole body to 90% she fits in at a more real world 5' 4"

Doesn't sound OT. Just important info to make V3 feel more like a mutant, Not having to rescale the head to make a regular scaled woman would be a good thing.

Quote - V3 has every right to be jealous. I never thought I'd see myself type this, but this just could be a Daz figure I can work with. I know V3 could do the larger body shapes, but the new scaling options with V4 seem much better. Clothing works a dream too.
Looks as if there are a fair few morphs that are still needed to really make her usable (muscle, phonemes (can't believe they didn't include those), ethnic etc) but she doesn't seem bad at all to me.P.S. Probably good to click for the full size image - she looks kinda cross eyed just on the page here.
Is this Sally Struthers?
I didn't intend it to be anyone inparticular, just a more well formed woman.

There's a new Vicki in town, and V3 doesn't like it. Last I heard she hopped on her huffy bike and stormed off into the sunset in a jealous rage (prolly headed in the direction of the temple !!!).
