Subject: What Does V4 Offer for Platinum Club Members ?

Attached Link: V4 Plat Club Preview

What gives with DAZ starting up a thread in the Commons forum entitled " V4 Plat Club Preview published Artist V4 images" ? ...... and then featuring items that are already part of the V4 Complete Bundle (in the store) ..... but when you then click on those items it takes you to the product page for that item and there is no hint that it is a PC item ?!?!?!?!

An example is "Grace for V4" (beautiful character BTW) by Steph, which is part of the V4 Complete Bundle. Click on the link and it takes you to Grace's page, at which point you find out she is not a PC item ....

...talk about confusing ! .... can anyone clarify this for me ?

I think it's because PC members got a preview first - it wasn't a preview of PC items but was actually a preview for PC members and it was moved to teh commons for all to see later.

What I never understand is why people ask questions about DAZ but don't do it on the DAZ forums 😉

I bought Helena V4 and GraceV4 insteado f the Separate DAZ Default standard and High Rez packages because I got two High Rez texture packages for under $8 with my $5 voucher for December. Plus I got as has been mentioned 30% off each of those high rez packages and HelenaV4 also includes some INJ Morphs it seems so for $7 and some change I got a nice deal. I'm just glad V4 camout out before my monthly PC Club renewal date on the 18th because I canceled renewal to, erm....umm.. try to save money... LOL!

For me, the $48 for the Pro Bundle is worth every cent (even the ones that I rounded out).  This is business for me - already bracing for the user attack of problems and questions concerning V4 and IPP compatibility.  No chance to test it yet though as I have 500MB!!! of V4 installs to do - busy not doing that today, tyvm.

PC membership is usually hit or miss (mainly miss if you're not interested in the items).  But it pays several times a year or more with these goodies and great discounts.  It's $95/yr and you save that in several months if you're lucky, definitely over the year unless you really don't use Poser ever.  All depends on your forecasted investment versus the savings.  If I felt that I wouldn't get anything out of Daz for a year, I might get out as well - but not yet. :)

Well, look at the separate Morphs++ package they're selling - it has a developer's kit.  I don't think that kit is available in the Complete version which also has the Morphs++ item, and which  even PC members gotta pay some money for.

The Victoria 4.0 Morphs++ is included with the Complete version so it does include the Victoria 4 Developer Kit. Coldrake

I got the pro bundle and I'm pretty pleased with it. To have purchased all that came with the pro bundle separately would have been more expensive.

From what has been said in the DAZ forum, the V4 base was and is being offered over the weekend free to PC members so that they get a chance to play a bit with the base model before deciding if they want to get the whole version.  It's much the way the V3 (which was free until recently) base model as well as the M3 and A3 models (and several other models at different times such as Hiro) were offered either to PC members or the general community of costumers (of which I am sadly a member you can't get a PC membership without puting down a CC) so that they got a chance to get an idea of what those models could do first and then make decsions on upgrades.

From what I've seen that is fairly exceptional in most market places, and I thank them for it.  I've been using DAZ for about alittle over or under six months or so now, and if the studio and it's base content as well as the variety of different freebies for models offered both at DAZ, Renderousity, and a plethera of other sites throughout the web hadn't been made available it's unlikely that I would have later made the decision to start in buying commericial upgrades and products.

I may occasionally gripe a bit about the prices or not being able to get in the PC or such things, but I'm honestly very fond of DAZ and it's various models.  I look forward to adding V4 to my runtime liberary and for PC members I think it's a really nice premotion on DAZ's part to let them get to try her out for free (you lucky stiffs)  ^^

Are the Victoria 4.0 Morphs++ different from the standard morphs?
