Subject: Wardrobe Wizard EJ support

Is EJ supported in Wardrobe Wizard?

I tried the demo but it wouldn't work on her. I want to make sure if she's supported in the commercial version of WW before I buy WW.

The list of supported figures on Phil's site does not explicity say that she's supported.

If she's not on the list of supported figures, it's not likely.

Although I'd contact PhilC to ask and know for certain.

I don't think she is.  IIRC this was mentioned and since she's just a morphed Judy you should first convert for Judy and then use that item to fit to EJ.

I checked the EJ page in the marketplace, and it isn't clear whether the base body shape and boning is the same. It's V2 UV mapping, and a lot of morphs. The UV mapping needs a different OBJ file. If the standard Judy clothing works, body shape and boning the same, then there is a work-around. I expect you'd want to take advantage of the EJ morphs, so you couldn't just convert clothes to standard Judy. But that's the obvious quick answer: convert the clothes to a scratch Judy. No, I'm not going to give away the secret in public. It might be very easy for Phil to add support, and I think you should ask him nicely.

My understanding was that EJ was the same shape and joints as Judy so all you need to do was convert to Judy. If EJ is just a remap of Judy then the morphs would be compatible and could be swopped between figures.

If the creator of EJ would like to have the figure supported by Wardrobe Wizard and would like to contact me I'll be happy to work something out.

I think that EJ has the same shape shape and joints as Judy.

However, the demo only worked for Judy but it did not work on EJ.

So, the final answer is that WW does not work on EJ?

I just tried to convert an item from EJ, and WW gives the report that there's no supported figure in the scene.

However it does look like the body doesn't change much between EJ and Judy, so it might be possible to use Judy, and then do a little scaling and tweaking with magnets to get an item to fit EJ.
