Subject: 32 Free custom Vue materials available...

Attached Link: Art Head Start - Free Stuff

Just finished publishing 32 free materials for your Vue-ing pleasure.

They are tested in Vue 6 Infinite and can be downloaded to use directly as materials, or for their underlying functions. A few are original, but most are modified versions of default materials that ship with Vue.

Please let me know if any fail to work or are improperly labeled.

Enjoy!

I was not able to download the BrickWall.bmp, it stated that the file could not be found on the server. Thank you for the other materials.

You're very welcome everyone!

vkirchner: Thanks for the warning. It's up now. I think this texture is in the Vue default bitmaps folder as well.

Thanks JC, I got the bitmap now, I am so new to Vue that I wouldn't know if it was in the default folder or not. Thanks!

Thanks for the "thanks" folks

You'll notice the 'Mossy Bricks' don't have moss on all sides. You change that in the Material Editor for 'Mixed materials' > 'Influence of Environment' > 'Orientation'.

"How does a scout find their way in the forest on a cloudy day with no compass?" "By knowing that moss often grows on the damp North side of trees." Maybe you have to know the prevailing winds too? I like a compass and map myself (or a GPS) receiver.
