SAL9000 - Hello Dr. Chandra, Will I've dream?
Let me put in a vote for classical dancing routines, that's two. (except a vote for them is worth 10 votes, that's 20) Also, going from one very everyday pose to a different pose eg from lying down to standing (and stretching) where there are lots of poses in between that may be left out. That's the easy bit. Now you have to make them to fit a Thornworks Faerie. I don't know how many people have Peridot from June 2000 but Posette would do thank you.

Not to put a damper on this idea but why not just keyframe some of these movements yourself and export the animation as a BHV file and you will have a reusable motion thats joint mapped for the poser figure that spawned it thats how i built my library of motions for my poser characters and remember there are quite a few FREE motion files on the poser4 content CD including poser scene files that have animated characters that can be exported as BVH MocapI knew it was from DUNE about 1.5 seconds into the audio. Thanks for brining up great memories! But to answer your question, Mocap: simple BVH's look superior in almost every respect. 30 frames = 30 keyframes, 180 frames = 180 keyframes. The more the merrier. I'm not putting down you animation at all, but if they had captured Baron Harkonnen's movements during that scene as a BVH it would look a lot better. -Tim
Karaneli: To answer your questions: (and yes, I would be very interested) a) Dunno ... I guess slightly less than what Credo or HOM charges. Depends on lenght, complexity, etc. b)Just about anything, but Chrome's idea about secondary movements is great. It's a virtually untapped market. c) Definetly MIKE AND VICKY!! (Versions 1 & (soon) 2) d)Whoops, there was no (d) ... hee-hee!
