I discovered these today. Now I'm not a big fan of competition amongst artists however, I can understand why some would want to see this but why is there a list for most mentioned merchants? What has that got to do with art?

Hmm It seems no one wishes to answer. I'm not sure how being a salesman makes one an artist.We have drug dealers on the beach for the tourists down in Goa. Does that make them artists?

First and foremost, our vendors are artists.  They create resources for artists made by artists.  Because these resources were used to create the art, they are being credited for their creative contribution.  

We included the most credited vendors in the art charts to acknowledge their work.

Before doing fractals I made 'tubes-from-scratch' for Paintshop Pro users.  It takes a lot of time and imagination to make things, piece by piece, that people will use in their artwork.  That's art alright.  If you use PSP and want some windchimes, here's my graphics website:
