Hi, This is one of those lost posts of 8/29. I'm lost on creating a .cr2 and .obj that works for a conforming glove. 1) I'm on a mac running Poser4 and RDS5.02. 2) I imported the P4NudeWom.obj into RDS deleted all but right forearm, hand and fingers (I tried to do an export from Poser of these items, but the names were all changed so I would have to change them all back). 3) Made modification and exported .obj with full path name and full path for grouping (exporting with texture creates each part a paintable material in Poser). 4) Using the P4 NudeWom.cr2 and Sock WR.cr2 as patterns edited a copy of the P4 NudeWom.cr2 with BBEdit. Changed path names, remove all but the needed actors, and changed the rForeArm's parent to Body. Used sock data for color specs. All seems to work fine, except for the materials. "Preview" becomes the default color no matter what I write. I would like to spec a name for the material. What am I doing wrong? Lakota
