Sorry to disappoint, but at first glance it would seem that your motherboard doesn't support PCI Express cards, which is what the ATI Radeon X1300 Pro apparently is.
You've really got two options...either get a new motherboard that handles PCI Express graphics cards, or look for a decent AGPx8 card that will integrate with your current motherboard like a GeForce 6200 maybe?
However, all that said, you also should make sure that the problem really is with your graphics card.
The liver is evil - It must be punished.
your Mobo has a PCI x4/x8 the graphics card has a PCI-e x16 the little "e" means express and it is much advanced over regular PCI.... There seems to be a tech support why not shoot an e-mail to them and send them those specs....
This whole buisiness of keeping up with whats current is driving me nuts too... Already these apps are yelling for quads cpus.... quad$ ! man take everything I own already...

That MB appears to be only AGP, so the two cards I can recommend would be: Nvidia 6600GT(128mb)AGP or the x1600pro(256mb) AGP. The X1300pro AGP, falls a little behind in benches than those two. The prices are very close in all those cards. If you are playing any 3D intense games(like Oblivion)then don't go any lower than the two I mentioned. If you only do graphics then stick with Nvidia(OpenGL support is a little better than ATI).
I have had alot of ATI too, both are good, just different in areas. If you plan on getting PCI-Express MB , you would have to upgrade almost all your hardware, unless you can find an Athlon XP MB with PCI-e(in which case I suggest you buy another computer at that point). If you need more info, I or others here can help.

I really need someones help on this. Two days ago i started getting weired lines across my renders, mainly in D|S after looking up a few things and asking questions in the correct places it seems i'm up for a new graphics card..sheesh it never ends. Now here is my problem, i'm no expert on computer technical things so i have no idea if the card i have my eye on is ok for my motherboard or is any good at all.
The link takes you to a page with details of my motherboard on.
Now the graphics card i'm interested in grabbing is a ATI Radeon X1300 Pro, 256MB, DDR2, PCI Express x16, DVI, D-Sub, HDTV.
Product Details.
Chipset: ATI RADEON X 1300 Pro
Memory: 256MB
Memory Bus: 128 bit
Memory Type: DDRII 16Mx16
PCB Form: ATX
BUS: PCI-e x 16
D-SUB: Y
TV-OUT: Y
DVI Port: Y(DVI-I)
VIVO: No
MultiView: Y
Tools: V-Tuner II
Now my question is this, is my motherboard good enough for that graphics or would i be better off getting another one like i have already which is another radeon.
I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.
