Vially ( ) posted Tue, 26 December 2006 at 9:35 PM · edited Tue, 26 November 2024 at 1:51 PM

Am I missing something here?

Baught the V4 Pro because I thought that was how to get the Hi-Rez templates for her. Apparrantly I was wrong...

So, Where are the Hi-Rez Templates, and how do I get them?

Thanks,
V

There is a set of high-rez skins, I believe they were separate when I bought them, checking...

$20
edit: oops, imo worth every penny because of the 12 or so texture sets I've bought, they're about my favorite.

The Hi-Res MAT files are here (this is from the ReadMe file)

  • Required Products: Victoria 4.0 Base.

  • You can find new icons for loading this product in the following Poser Libraries:

  • Pose: "DAZ'S Victoria 4MATerials Hi-Res"

If you bought the Pro bundle they came with.  There are like 8 or 9 different files to download and install.

Those are the Hi-Res textures yes, but not a template.
This is the "template" textures, Alpha-Merchant resource kit:

**Edit: pjz99, you bought 12 sets??? OMG!!
**Let's see...I got Helena...Macy Day, FaerieDreams, Christmas...yep only 4, 5 if you count the standard res.

Hi,

Sorry for the confusion, I guess I didn't say that question correctly.

Yes I recieved all the skins that were to come with the pro bundle...

What I do not see are the Hi-res Templates... (AKA Maps)

You know, for making your own skins & Textures... Eyes, Head, Teath, yada yada yada...
They have the low rez or "standard" Maps, and there are Hi-Rez Textures...

So whare are the hi-Rez Templates (Maps) ?

Thanks,
V

Sorry, I misunderstood.  No clue about templates.

Vially, do you mean the UV seam mapping? Because the Hi-Res "Maps" are included in the bundle but these are not for texture making (unless strickly for your own personal use only).

Here are the templates for Vicky 4 from Snow Sultan. He is always so good to us. :-)

See, this is part of the problem, they are called so many different things...
Seam Guides, Templates, UV Maps, Texture Maps, Texture Templates, UV Guides...

Basically they are as in the image... but for V4 herself.

Thank you Damsel, I appreciate it.  :)  Just saw this thread now or I would have put up a link earlier. Glad you found what you needed Vially. If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know.

Speaking of which, it's almost time for me to start work on the Sydney guides.   ;)    Thanks again.

Texture Maps and Texture Templates are completely different animals!  You can create Texture MAPS using Templates in a photo editing program like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.  😉
