It's going to depend a lot on how the skin materials are set. Things that will help you get more realism out of shader-oriented material sets will probably not benefit you if you are using simpler materials. Not that I know the best render settings necessarily, but why don't you post a screenshot of typical skin material e.g. torso skin in the Materials Room/Advanced View? I'm sure that would be helpful.
euh .... as far as i know the 300 DPI does not work in P7 ..when set to more then 72 the render will be 72 .... i believe they gonna fix it in SR-1 ...
There is a thread about it somewere here ...
I found out the same way ..render at 300 and it looks like euh ...72 :} and it is 72 dpi ..
Chris
But do REMEBER 300 DPi is ONLY for printing for texture use it has no meaning at all.

Please can somebody tell me what are the best settings in poser 7 for a realistic render for a body texture? Most of the time I make a render of 3000 x 300 and 300 dpi. But when I open the image in photoshop the image looks terrible. I don't know how I can do the right settings in poser 7. Is there someone who will make a printscreen of it? Thanks.
