append! APPEND!!!! its a fun word and a funner tool. its hidden in the same place as the save file. click append, find the scene you want to get the object from, click on the scene, click mesh (or whatever you want to append) and click on the mesh you want. then it will magicaly APPEAR in your scene
I'm a little late, but so it goes. Of the several library options that come up, it seems that you want the object library. After you get into it, left click on the objects you want, the hit enter, or click on load library. At wikiblender someone (I forgot who) is writing up a tutorial on the filesystem interface that should be helpful. I know, as an amateur myself, some of the arcana is truly confusing. Note: while I'm at it. There are a number of useful tutorials being written.

Is there any way I can get an object from one scene and transfer it to another scene?
I made a chair that I would like to set in a scene with table and stuff. but dont wanna make it all again even though it doesn't take that long time to do it.
Help is appreciated.
