Subject: P7 Pre Release price a rip-off

I was just on E-Frontiers site having a browse around and noticed that the upgrade price for Poser7 is $129 dollars. Now the Pre-Release price was $149 so it seems that basically E-Frontier were charging $20 for the additional Casino extras like the dress, suit and Car. If those items were offered on their own would anyone pay $20 for them? I know I wouldn't  - $20 would buy better add-ons by other merchants.

I didn't buy P7 but it now makes me very wary about pre-release pricing from anyone. Surely it implies that you are getting it cheaper than the release price. I did buy Vue 6 at its pre-release price but I won't be a bit surprised if I didn't get a bargain after all - just the opportunity to test it for E-OnSoftware at the full price.
I wish software companies would be a bit clearer on what is a deal and what isn't!

I got the pre-release and paid $129.00... less tax ....   I don't recall anyone who paid $149.00.

I pre-ordered very early (second or third day) and I paid $129 minus passport club coupon.

Maybe I have got it wrong! I was pretty  sure it was $149. Oh well, problem solved then :-)

EF were offering a "P6 + Miki CE" upgrade (with a P7 download) for $149, all other upgrade routes to P7 were $129.
