I was considering buying clothes converter but I'm not really sure if it's what I want I would like to make clothes from regular V3 ( Conforming bodysuit , Uzilte Gear  Etc. )Fit to GND V3 and say M3 clothes fit default P6 Little boy  Or David clothes fit M3 and so on.. any experts in this department here? HELP ME!!!!

I have it, I find that I have to stuff around heeps in order to get a decent looking garment, and you really do need to spend the time on it.

If you have the cash just buy what you want for the figure you really want to use it for.

You will need to apply magets etc in order to use the converted cloths from www.netherworks.com these are handy if you get free stuff that dose not have the morphs built into them

I got it because it was cheaper, and the author is hard to track down{You have to email him.} A MUCH better purchase would be PhilC's Wardrobe wizard, for only $5 you can get V4 support! I'd go with W.W. If I had the chance instead of CC...Which gathers dust as we speak!

The Wardrobe Wizard site is www.philc.net , not as above.    Wardrobe Wizard and Clothes Converter both seem to do a reasonable job on clothes, as opposed to footwear.   I prefer Wardrobe Wizard.   Regarding footwear, I have used WW to convert the V3/M3 Treadz boots for A3 very successfully.   On the other hand, I have lately been trying to convert boots for P7's Sydney, with no luck so far (that's with WW and CC).   On the other hand, I have used WW to convert both the V3 and the V4 catsuits for Sydney.   They needed a little bit of adjustment, but not very much.     V3 to GND should be pretty straightforward, since GND is basically V3, anyway (I have used WW for this);  likewise, D3 to M3.   As for small figures to big and vice versa, I have never tried it, but PhilC certainly supports it and he is renowned for the excellence of his support.   For the record, the current version of Clothes Converter does also support V4.

Can anyone answer this definitively on using WW to convert clothing designed for V3/A3 over to V4 (please include a screenshot if you can).  Like 95% of you, I have a vast collection of V3/A3 clothing that I would love to apply to V4 and there are more sets of clothing that I would like to purchase but it is only for V3/A3.  I have seen PhilC's products and am about a nanosecond away from buying WW but after buying Poser 7, I am a little leerie of throwing more money away, no offense Phil, blame EF.

I've used the demo version of WW and I'm not very happy with the results. I converted the bodysuit from P5-Ugly woman to P4-default woman and the result was awful. Has anyone pictures of V3 clothes converted to GND?
WW is quite a bit expensive and I want to see results before buying it.

The fit of the resulting clothing will be dependant on the quality of the original. Here is an outline and silhouette of how well the P5 cat suit fits the P5 woman. Basically ... terrible. When converted to the P4 woman the results are as you have found out, unsatisfactory.

A better test is to convert the P4 cat suit to the P5 female. The suit fits the P4 female and as a consequence fits the P5 female when converted.

On the left P5 to P4 on the right P4 to P5.

Also please note that using the inflation and smoothing tools is all part of the process. We could have scripted it such this was done automatically but that removes a lot of flexibility.

If further clarification is required please let me know. I'm always happy to respond.

I have used Clothing Converter with pretty good results.Take a look...#1:V3 to Aiko19, #2:A3 to Koshini2, #3:V3 to Koshini2...

The girl on the left side is wearing David 3 Men At Work overalls, with a bit of morphing around the chest to pull the front of the garment away from the breasts.  The tank top converted flawlessly.

I have WW Wizard and have found that once you get past the basic learning curve and the amount of time it takes to get the results you want you can do some pretty cools stuff with it. Here are some examples of how I have used it to convert A3, Michael & Victoria3 clothing down to Kiki (by LittleLadyFox). Phil makes an excellent point about garbage in garbage out. There are a few items I have tried that no amount of tweaking will seem to do the trick, but when I have taken a good look at the clothing model I have found them to be fussy or weird in some way, which obvious WW cannot handle. This tool won't do a simple "taa-daa" magical translation of an item from one figure to the other, you WILL have to tweak it, puff up one part, smooth out some others. Buttons give me troubles (if you look at the Pilot image above you will see that the buttons are kind of oddly shaped), but I may just be doing it wrong. Still, I am glad I bought WW, and if you do more than half a dozen outfits or so that you really like it has probably paid for itself by you not having to buy those items for another figure - provided the outfit is even available for the figure you want to use it on (for me it never is since not that many people are using Kiki).
